Our Measuring Guide.
Bust
The bust measurement is the circumference around the fullest part of the chest.

- Stand Straight: Stand in a relaxed, upright posture with your arms at your sides.
- Position the Tape: Wrap a measuring tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples/bust apex).
- Read the Measurement: The tape should be snug but not tight, it should not indent your skin. Record the measurement where the tape overlaps.
Waist
The waist measurement is the circumference of your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your torso.

- Locate Natural Waist: Locate the smallest part of your torso, usually above your belly button and below your ribcage (the point where your body naturally bends).
- Wrap the Tape: Wrapthe measuring tape around this narrowest point.
- Read the Measurement: Keep the tape horizontal all the way around and snug but not tight. Exhale and record the measurement while your stomach is relaxed.
Sleeve Length
For jackets, the sleeve length is often measured from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder, and down to the wrist.

- Find the Starting Point: Place the '0' end of the measuring tape at the center of the back of your neck, right where your neck meets your shoulders.
- Measure toShoulder Point: Run the tape over the top of your shoulder (the shoulder point).
- Measure to Elbow: Continue down the outside of your arm, slightly bending the arm at the elbow.
- Measure to Wrist: Keep the tape running to the wrist bone or slightly past it, depending on your desired sleeve length. It's often helpful to have someone assist you with this measurement.
Front Length (for jackets)
This is the length from the highest point of the shoulder down to the desired hem of the jacket.

- Find the Starting Point: Place the '0' end of the measuring tape at the highest point of the shoulder, right next to the neck seam (often referred to as the shoulder-neck point).
- Measure Down: Run the tape straight down the front of your body.
- Determine End Point: Measure down to the point where you want the jacket's hem to fall. For a standard suit jacket, this is usually around the mid-thigh/crotch line, but it depends entirely on the style. Record this measurement.
